Who we are

Nice Electric Scheduling ("the app") is an internal workforce scheduling and time-tracking tool operated by Nice Electric Co. ("we", "us"). The app is provided to our employees and authorized contractors only — it is not a public service and does not accept self-signup. Contact: admin@niceelectricco.com.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, role, and your hashed password (we never see your password in plain text).
• Time records: clock-in and clock-out times, associated job, and notes you enter.
• Location data: approximate and precise GPS coordinates when you clock in or out, and periodic location pings while you are on the clock. On our mobile app, location is also collected in the background — meaning while the app is minimized or your screen is off — for as long as you are clocked in. Tracking stops automatically the moment you clock out, and you can revoke location access at any time from your device settings.
• Customer and job data: customer names, addresses, site notes, and job assignments entered by your administrators.
• Device and log data: standard server logs (IP address, request timestamp, error traces) used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use this information

• Schedule jobs and assign crews.
• Track work time for payroll and customer billing.
• Show admins where crews are located during work hours to coordinate dispatch.
• Diagnose bugs and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, show you ads, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How data is stored and protected

Data is stored in encrypted databases hosted by our cloud provider. All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Access to administrative data is restricted by role and protected by row-level security policies enforced at the database layer.

Data sharing

We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the app (cloud database, authentication, mapping, transactional email). These providers are bound by contract to process data only on our behalf. We may also disclose data when required by law.

Your rights and account deletion

You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time. To delete your account from inside the app, sign in and open Account. You can also email admin@niceelectricco.com with a deletion request. Deletion removes your login and personal profile. Records required for payroll, tax, or legal compliance (such as historical time entries) may be retained in an anonymized form for the period required by law.

Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to users by email or in-app notice.
